During the 1960's the pop psychology era began an experiment. One of its testing grounds was the family unit. As the past 60 years has revealed the experiment went terribly wrong.

While families prior to this produced mature functional citizens and adults by the time the child was 18 years old today's parent is often unable to accomplish this in 30, 40, or even 50 years. What has gone wrong? Where did common sense go?
